I am two weeks into meal planning and I have to ask: am I doing it wrong???
My research on Pinterest seems to show that people only plan for dinner. So I joined the Busy Mama Budgeting and Meal Planning Facebook group and it seems that they all only plan for dinner too.
I’m over here with my menu posted on the fridge of what’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I plan for a leftovers meal after 2 cooked lunch/dinners. My Frugal Family Meals Pinterest board includes recipe ideas for all three…. AM I DOING IT WRONG??
Is it too much work to plan for all 3 meals? Does meal planning not work that way?
Lol! My coworker is always jokingly accusing me of being an overachiever, is that the case here?
Before someone reads too much into this: THIS IS NOT A MOMMY WAR POST! I literally have no idea why I’m planning 3 meals a day, 7 days a week and everyone else online is only planning 1 meal. I homeschool, so I have my kids for all 3 meals. What do other homeschoolers do?
So leave a comment letting me know that I’m not a crazy overachiever or you can always agree with my coworker… this is a judge-free zone.
